BETHESDA, Md. – The Car Care Council has launched its redesigned “Be Car Care Aware” Web site at www.carcare.org. Visitors to the new site will be greeted by a redesigned homepage that features practical vehicle maintenance and repair information for consumers, the aftermarket industry and the media. Each section is organized and labeled for each audience.

“Since launching the ‘Be Car Care Aware’ Web site more than five years ago, we have learned that motorists are hungry for the vehicle maintenance and repair information found on the site,” said Rich White, executive director of the Car Care Council.

“The new clean look, coupled with enhanced graphics and new multi-media capabilities, allows the Car Care Council to provide timely, relevant information to key audiences in a more organized fashion.”

Consumers will find information on vehicle care and preventative maintenance. They can order a free copy of the newly-updated Car Care Guide, print a free service interval schedule and find a repair shop or auto parts store on the site.

For industry members, the Web site offers ways to get involved with the “Be Car Care Aware” campaign, information about National Car Care Month and Fall Car Care Month, and downloadable forms to order point-of-sale starter kits and “Be Car Care Aware” brochures.

It also contains industry press releases and helpful information for hosting events during Car Care Months.

Media members will benefit from press releases, articles and the new Car Care Minute videos, as well as information on the various vehicle systems and questions to ask a technician.

Visitors need only type the words “car care” into any major search engine to find www.carcare.org. The Car Care Council site is ranked first on all major search engines including AOL, Ask.com, Google, MSN and Yahoo.

I also was asked to send a self-addressed envelope for the free information, which I did. The Post Office returned the envelope and said it was not deliverable as addressed..unable to forward. The article was copywrited 1995-2010 and the name Steve Ford appeared on the article. The articled that I printed was most informative and that is why I sent for more free information. Do you have another address?
