The Chipola College Automotive Technology program recently earned re-accreditation from The National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF)–the highest level of achievement recognized by NATEF.
“This is great news for automotive-minded young people and their parents,” said Donald Seyfer, NATEF Chair. “Because this program increases cooperation between local education and industry leaders, it gives added assurance that Chipola graduates will be employable entry-level technicians. As a result of the quality education provided by Chipola, the motoring public will benefit since better repair technicians will join the work force.”
Chipola’s automotive program has Master NATEF Certification in all eight areas of certification: Electrical, Engine Performance, Brakes, Steering and Suspension, Air Conditioning and Heating, Engine Repair, Automatic Transmission and Transaxles, and Manual Drive Trains.
