The Marana High School auto club from Tucson, AZ, won the Arizona Pit Crew Challenge. Teachers from Universal Technical Institute served as judges and awarded the team a trophy, a banner and $6,000 Snap-on toolbox.
From Phil Villarreal’s article on the KGUN 9 website:
The Marana High School auto club has proven to be one of the state’s best.
For the third straight year, the club won the Arizona Pit Crew Challenge.
The squad took home the title last month, defeating 15 other teams from seven high schools. They faced off in challenges that had them fix up cars and engines.
