Greenville High School Auto Tech Instructor Jim Anderson recently received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Miami Valley Tech Prep Consortium (MVTPC).
From Erik Martin’s article on The Daily Advocate website:
Calling himself “very surprised,” longtime Greenville High School Auto Tech instructor Jim Anderson received a Lifetime Achievement Award during the Tech Prep Showcase Competition held at Sinclair Community College on April 13.
Anderson, who has taught auto technology at Greenville High School for the past 33 years, was presented the award by the Miami Valley Tech Prep Consortium (MVTPC) in recognition for his efforts and contributions made to auto tech students.
Wendell Meyers, a director and program manager at MVTPC, said Anderson “sets the standard” for tech prep instructors.
“He knows how to do tech prep,” he said. “His teams have won eight national awards. He brings in countless donations to the program from businesses and industry. Ninety-nine percent of the students who enter his tech prep program graduate. That’s astronomical.”
