Trevor Froelich and Dean Argenti came in first place at the Greater New York Automobile Dealer’s Association regional competition. They will go on to complete at the state-level competition in February.

Two Riverhead students won big at the Greater New York Automobile Dealer’s Association regional competition last week in Whitestone.
Trevor Froelich and Dean Argenti, students at Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology at HB Ward Technical Center, were awarded first place at the competition, which features the best high school automotive education students in the region.
Students in teams of two race against the clock to test their skill and knowledge, competing for the title of The Nation’s Best Automotive Technician.
