Argo — Electude’s Automotive E–Learning Solution — Selected as Virginia’s High School Automotive Curriculum

The approximately six thousand automotive students in Virginia’s secondary education programs will no longer depend solely on using textbooks or passive video-based solutions.

Electude USA announced today that the Commonwealth of Virginia has selected Argo, Electude’s automotive e-learning solution, for the state’s high school automotive curriculum. With this decision, Virginia has moved its automotive programs to the forefront of career and technical education.

Electude is the global leader in automotive e-learning solutions with thousands of schools and hundreds of thousands of students using Argo in over 40 countries and 20 languages. The approximately six thousand automotive students in Virginia’s secondary education programs will no longer depend solely on using textbooks or passive video-based solutions.

Instead, they will learn through Argo’s web‐based interactive lessons and simulations that use a discovery‐based approach. Students learn by doing with virtual exercises and this helps prepare them for the hands‐on training in the workshops.

“We are extremely honored that the Commonwealth of Virginia selected Argo for all its automotive programs in the state,” said Thomas Snyder, president of Electude USA. “We are seeing an increasing number of Departments of Education determined to drive their state’s educational systems forward.”  Snyder elaborated. “In doing so, leading states, such as Virginia, often jettison outdated learning methods and boldly embrace e-learning systems that have proven time and time again to deliver vastly improved results and learning.”
