Mr. Jerry Ward, Auto Mechanics Teacher at Oak Forest and Bremen High Schools set out on a journey with 40 Auto Mechanic students, to discover the world of work. Their first stop was Central Illinois Trucks (CIT) Kenworth in Mokena. They met the owner and several employees who took them on a tour of the facility and discussed the importance of an education and what it takes to facilitate an operation such as theirs. CIT currently employs 45 mechanics and are adding a third shift and weekend shift. The next stop was Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Lisle.
