After its most comprehensive truck evaluation program in history, MOTOR TREND has unanimously selected the Chevy Colorado as its 2015 Truck of the Year, an award open only to all-new or significantly updated trucks and vans for the upcoming model year.

In the fiercely competitive pick-up truck market, this is a prestigious statement especially this year with all the outstanding vehicles the editors had to choose from.

The mid-sized 2015 Colorado, while not a new nameplate, is never-the-less, a completely re-designed vehicle – with segment leading fuel economy.

MOTOR TREND hasn’t given this award to a mid-size pickup in ten years, and with the all new Ford F-150 in the running, the stakes were high.

The Truck of the Year issue will be on newsstands and at MOTORTREND.com, later this month.
