Students in the auto tech program at Cowley College in Arkansas City, Kans., recently held their first Car Care Clinic of 2016. The next Car Care Clinic is scheduled for mid-April.

Cowley College automotive students teamed up with members of the First Assembly of God in Arkansas City to put on a Car Care Clinic on Saturday, Jan. 2 at the school’s automotive department.
Cowley students Conner Oxford, Trever Flauding, Bailey Pike, and Travis Venn assisted with the clinic. First Assembly of God members who assisted included Daniel Yocum, Jeanie Delaney, Debra Olivas, Kathy Correll, Andy Wadley, DeAngelo Tate, Tina Brewer and Christi McCall.
Among the work being done were oil changes and checking fluid levels. Volunteers also provided inspections of the vehicles and identified more significant problems that needed to be fixed.
