A team of students from Joliet Township High School competed in the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge on July 30 at Route 66 Raceway.

On Saturday, July 30, JTHS Engine Team members traveled to Route 66 Raceway to participate in the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge, a nationwide high school engine building competition in which the team with the fastest time including penalty-minutes wins.
JTHS students Ulises Carreno, Martin Chavez, Jeff Law, Jimmy Miller and Tony Tokarczyk participated in the competition, earning a time of 28:54 with no penalties and garnering the attention of competition judges.
