Lauren Fix Is “Driven” to Focus on the Female Perspective

“Female Driven” will air on the Lifetime Television network and will include “female perspective” coverage from the major new car auto shows with real life advice and easy-to-understand information.

NEW YORK– D S Simon Productions has partnered with Lauren Fix, also known as “The Car Coach,” to produce “Female Driven,” an automotive lifestyle television program for the Lifetime Television network. The program will also be offered to local and national stations from coast-to-coast.

In addition to the new television show, Fix will be filming satellite media tours, Web video content and national programming from the four major auto shows across the country (Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago and New York). Fix, a renowned author, spokesperson, alpha mom and television personality; is an authoritative addition to D S Simon’s stable of talent, said Douglas Simon, president & CEO of D S Simon Productions.

“We’re excited to add Lauren to our talent roster, and establish a foothold in the automotive event marketplace,” said Simon. “Her philosophy of the importance of a woman’s role in the car buying decision-making process makes it easy for her to speak to a broad audience.”

“Female Driven” will air on the Lifetime Television network and will include “female perspective” coverage from the major new car auto shows with real life advice and easy-to-understand information. Women make 85 percent of the buying and maintenance decisions as well as a 95 percent veto power of vehicle choices. Plus, women own 60 percent of the cars on the road. “Female Driven” will help consumers make the right choice to meet their needs as the vehicle is becoming the second family room for many families.

Also unique to Fix’s relationship with D S Simon Productions is the expanded media package being offered from the auto show. In addition to live satellite and radio media tours, included are targeted placement, an hour-long show on Lifetime with Lauren Fix, placement on MomCentral.com, a leading “mommy-blogger” site and D S Simon’s Social Media Buzz Web distribution.
