From Lacy Hardee’s article on the Myhorrynews.com website:
For Loris resident Jeffery “Flint” Mincey, his philosophy of teaching fits his personality and career choice muck like a finely tuned engine running on all cylinders and at peak performance.
Tapped by his peers at the Academy of Technology of Academics as the school’s teacher of the year, he took his life’s passion and work experience to the classroom. He gives students the opportunity to hit the job market or business sector with the skills to succeed in automotive technology.
“A career is like driving a car,” said Mincey. “You have a big windshield to see where you’re going and a small rear view mirror to see where you came from.”
