MOTOSHOP Expands its MotoSKILL Shop Tech Training Program

ROANOKE, VA – MOTOSHOP Technology Tools now offers a more expansive portfolio for MotoSKILL Shop Tech Training, a comprehensive training program with over 180 hours of online video courses for automotive technicians and service writers. Updates announced today include the addition of seven Spanish-language courses and an All Access Pass to MotoSKILL.

MotoSKILL is available from MOTOSHOP Technology Tools, a product set from Advance Auto Parts, Inc., an automotive aftermarket parts provider in North America. Training courses from MotoSKILL are Web-based, allowing users to access content at any time from any location.

Spanish-speaking users can access any of seven Spanish courses focused on diagnostics training, scan tool education and specific systems education. All classes include a study guide, knowledge assessment and a certificate of completion. MotoSKILL courses can be purchased individually or bundled.

MotoSKILL integrates vehicle technology advancements into its courses including recently added classes that address A/C temperature testing, gasoline direct injection and 6.0 power-stroke injectors. Classes covering performance tuning essentials and TPMS profitability will launch later in 2014.

For shops that want it all, MotoSKILL now offers the All Access Pass. In addition to unlimited access to over 90 courses and more than 180 hours of online video, All Access Pass users receive 13 extra ASE test-prep courses. Also included is MotoSKILL’s new technical skills assessment based on ASE A Series certification.
