The Prairie State College (Chicago Heights, IL) Automotive Technology Program offers students the necessary technology and skills to succeed in the automotive repair marketplace.
From the eNews Park Forest website:
The Automotive Program at Prairie State College (PSC) recently was reaccredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).
NATEF’s mission is to “improve the quality of automotive technician training programs nationwide at secondary and post-secondary, public and proprietary schools.”
To be accredited, a school must meet the standards set by the industry in the structure, resources and quality of training programs.
According to NATEF, “these standards reflect the skills that students must master to be successful in the industry.”
