Raybestos Brake & Chassis Resurrects Racing’s Heyday with ’64 GTO-R Build and Sweepstakes

Raybestos ’64 GTO-R Build is Chronicled At RaybestosGarage.com

CHICAGO – Building off the success of last year’s Sweepstakes, which saw one lucky winner ride off in a
totally customized ’32 Roadster Pickup built by Troy Ladd of Hollywood Hot Rods, Inc., this year the Raybestos Brake
& Chassis Sweepstakes takes it to the streets.

Raybestos Brake & Chassis, in collaboration with the industry’s top designers, performance brand parts and
Chicagoland’s Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle, is building from the ground up, a true American legend: the 1964 Pontiac
GTO-R.

Reminiscent of the days when races began with flags, this 700HP classic, built with modern Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle chassis is a GM muscle machine that screams 60’s style and performance.

From June 15th, 2011 until September 15th, 2011 readers of Tomorrow’s Technician, followers and fellow car enthusiasts can enter to win this red hot Raybestos Brake & Chassis ’64 GTO-R online at RaybestosGarage.com, where they can also watch as true automotive artists assemble and meticulously customize this traditional ’64 GTO-R by combing retro style, modern machinery and hard-working know how.

The entire GTO-R build is being chronicled at Talking Shop on RaybestosGarage.com where video updates, interviews with the builders, information on how to win the ’64 GTO-R and where to catch a live glimpse of it will be released.

The Raybestos brand, long known for it’s heritage in both performance and safety, is also spreading the word
through social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr, where connecting with the brand, the build,
and this classic era in racing is made easy.

With an episode already shot for HOT ROD TV on SPEED TV and appearances at media events with Raybestos, NASCAR and IndyCar racing partner teams and drivers, and races like the HUNNERT CAR PILE UP drag race in June, it’ll be hard not to notice the GTO-R from the moment its 17” racing wheels hit the pavement.
