Society of Collision Repair Specialists MO-KAN Launches ‘The Collision Repair Job Connection’

SCRS Missouri/Kansas is the largest collision only association representing collision repairers in Missouri and Kansas.

Kansas City, KS — The Society of Collision Repair Specialists of Missouri & Kansas has launched “The Collision Repair Job Connection”, a forum for the top technical school collision repair students to connect with SCRS MO-KAN member shops that are seeking employees.

There are currently more than 20 technical schools that are in the network representing over 400 students that plan to seek employment in the collision repair industry.

The student will simply go on-line and enter their profile information including the geographic area (or areas) they desire to work in, plus will have an opportunity to upload a resume.

The SCRS MO-KAN member store will then be able to log on, choose from a list of cities within the MO-KAN area and find available students formally trained in the following categories: Painter, Body Technician, Estimator, Appraiser, Production Manager, Prepper, Mechanic, Polisher or Detailer.

The web address to access the job connection forum is www.scrsmokan.com.  There you’ll find a SCRS MO-KAN Job Connection link..

MO-KAN Chapter Chairman, Bill Garoutte, said, “This is an incredible tool.  With just a few mouse clicks we are able to provide an extremely valuable service to our membership in addition to providing a key connection with the schools that we’ve built relationships with”.

The Job Connection site is password protected and is only available to students at Missouri and Kansas Technical Schools that are not currently employed by a collision repair shop.  Conversely, all due paying SCRS MO-KAN members will have password access to the student profiles.

Board Member, Michael Hobick of KC Autobody CARSTAR in Blue Springs, MO said, “as a board, our mindset is to continually bring value to the SCRS MO-KAN membership.  This new enhancement to our website keeps us marching towards that goal.”

Any school or collision repair shop that is not currently affiliated with SCRS MO-KAN but want to take advantage of this tool should contact the SCRS MO-KAN office at 816-298-0146 or e-mail [email protected].
