From Hunter Marrow’s article on The Argus Observer website:
The Vale High School automotive program is known throughout Malheur County and across the state of Oregon.
During a Tuesday visit to the program, Oregon Department of Education Deputy Superintendent Salam Noor told the students and staff that Vale High School’s automotive program is well-regarded, evinced by the numerous first-place trophies the program has garnered since the early- to mid-1980s.
“I’m delighted to be here,” Noor told the crowd of students, administrators and teachers who gathered in the auto shop Tuesday. “It’s really outstanding, the work that is being done here.”
