The Women of the Year Awards include “Auto Care Woman of the Year”, “Female Shop Owner of the Year” and “Auto Care Woman of Excellence.”

The inaugural competition has presented two female students with $5,000 each.

Automotive student and Capitol Tire & Auto Service employee Tabitha Harris awarded two academic scholarships to pursue a career in the auto care industry.
Women in Auto Care, a community of the Auto Care Association, awarded scholarships to 40 female students looking to have a career in the auto care industry.
The scholarships are open to young women in high school and post-secondary schools who are focused on technical, as well as business/engineering degrees. This year Women in Auto Care awarded $65,000 in scholarships to 22 female students.
