The Timken Co. has announced the launch of three new training videos. Timken provides tips to automotive technicians through a series of brief videos titled “Tricks of the Trade.”
The three new videos cover the following topics:
- Effect of corrosion on anti-lock braking system (ABS) sensors: How to resolve ABS brake system problems by removing corrosion around the sensor input hole.
- General Motors axle nut styles: The importance of selecting and properly installing the newer single-piece nut.
- 1998-2004 Grand Cherokee axle bearing: The importance of selecting the correct axle bearing to ensure proper end play and avoid brake issues.
Available on Timken’s YouTube channel, these new videos add to the existing collection of Timken training videos released late last year. They include two videos on the Timken online predictive analytics inventory optimization solution, Demand Insight, and two additional Tricks of the Trade videos – one on active seal encoders and the other covering super duty hub assembly.
