Today’s Lesson – Don’t Punch Someone’s Lamborghini

After being told not to lay on the hood of an unspecified 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo, Michael Clearwater of West Seattle, WA, now faces felony charges after doing $20,000 worth of damage to the car.

Sometimes you can’t make up a better story than the truth. The following story is one of those times.

After being told not to lay on the hood of an unspecified 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo, Michael Clearwater of West Seattle, WA, now faces felony charges after doing $20,000 worth of damage to the car. As described by the King County police to the Seattle Post-Intelligencier, Clearwater had initially complemented the owner of the parked Lamborghini. After the owner started walking away, Clearwater had a friend take a photo of him while he laid across the hood like a “mermaid.”

This Gallardo isn’t the one that was damaged by Clearwater, but resembles the model that he punched.

Seeing the photo shoot ensue, the owner returned to his car and pulled Clearwater off of it. A shoving match began, and Clearwater climbed back onto the Lamborghini, jumped on the hood and punched the windshield before authorities arrived.

Clearwater admitted to sitting on the Lamborghini but denied striking it, despite three other eye witness accounts. He was charged with first-degree malicious mischief, but was not detained. Lesson learned?
