This 2011 Toyota Camry has been scanned and a code P0101 turned on the check engine light for the customer. P0101 code indicates the mass airflow sensor is not performing as intended. The ECM reads the return signal from the unit and senses it is not within original specifications. In this engine, the air filter housing was not secured, allowing unfiltered air to enter before the mass airflow sensor. The dirty air contaminated the sensor's hot wire.
