Students in the Automotive Technology program at Nashoba Valley Technical High School are performing free winter checks on vehicles they service.
From an article on The Lowell Sun website:
Just in time for the cold weather, the Automotive Technology technical program at Nashoba Valley Technical High School is offering a free winter check for any vehicle it services.
Residents of Nashoba Tech’s eight district towns — Ayer, Chelmsford, Groton, Littleton, Pepperell, Shirley, Townsend and Westford — can bring their cars to Nashoba Tech for repair “at very discounted rates,” according to instructor Joshua Morin, and get the winter check at no extra cost.
The auto-repair shop at Nashoba Tech is “run like a real auto shop for members of the community,” Morin said, adding that it provides “a great service for the community, and it gives the students some real-life opportunities to service vehicles.
