Honda To Debut 2016 CBR500R At AIMExpo
American Honda has a full slate of activities planned for its display at next week’s American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo), including the world debut of the updated 2016 CBR500R. Dealers and consumers attending the event, which will be held October 15-18 at Orlando, Florida’s Orange County Convention Center, will have the first opportunity to see the midsize sport bike.

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Andrew Hines battled to his second Pro Stock Motorcycle final-round victory in the NHRA Countdown to the Championship playoffs at the NHRA Keystone Nationals. Propelled by the V-Twin power of a Harley-Davidson V-Rod motorcycle, Hines has two wins in four Countdown events and now has a commanding 89-point lead on the Pro Stock Motorcycle field with three races left.
Red Kap Releases Its Newest Craftsmen Series Featuring Heath Pinter
Red Kap has released three videos featuring acclaimed BMX rider, X Games champion and classic car builder Heath Pinter. The video series traces Pinter’s passion-fueled journey as he designs and builds a 1928 Ford Roadster. The custom car has been built specifically to compete in The Race of Gentlemen, a one-of-a-kind event that was held on the beaches of the Jersey Shore on Oct. 3-4.

Growing up in Flushing, Queens, N.Y., Jahid Habasi was engrossed in the automotive field. His father was a mechanic who wound up opening up his own body shop. But, once he retired, Habasi had to venture off on his own and find his own path. In 2007, Habasi entered the pharmacy program at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkhill, N.Y. “I did it to make my parents happy, to let them know that I’m book smart as well as street smart,” says Habasi.
