Satellite High To Restore Car For Nationwide Contest
Students at Satellite High School in Satellite Beach, FL, are moving on to the next round in the Quaker State “Best in Class Challenge.” They will receive a 2002 Chevy Impala on October 13 and have six weeks to give the car a complete makeover. Judging will be done by NASCAR driver Paul Menard and Tommy Pike, owner of Tommy Pike Customs in South Carolina.

Bosch Signs Sponsorship Agreement With Universal Technical Institute
Robert Bosch LLC, a global supplier of automotive parts to vehicle manufacturers and the independent aftermarket, has signed a five-year sponsorship agreement with Universal Technical Institute (UTI) to provide automotive parts, equipment and training support at all UTI campuses nationwide. Tony Gibson, crew chief for Kurt Busch and the No. 41 Haas Automation Chevrolet SS, won the MOOG Steering and Suspension brand’s “Problem Solver of the Race” Award after Busch finished third in Sunday’s myAFibRisk400.com 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup event at Chicagoland Speedway, Joliet, Ill. Gibson’s win, coming in the opening round of the 10-race Chase for the Sprint Cup, moves him into a six-way tie for third place in the MOOG “Problem Solver of the Year” standings.
