Quaker State ‘Best in Class Challenge’ Brings Jordan Vocational High School More Than Cash

As the winner of the Quaker State “Best in Class Challenge,” Jordan Vocational High School students travelled to West Palm Beach to auction off the car at Barrett-Jackson and take home the earnings to benefit their auto program. The car sold for $50,000, but would end up earning the school $135,000 as they went on to three more auctions.

When two senior automotive students at the Career & Technical Education Center of North Kansas City Schools had the opportunity to revive a 1992 Ford Mustang GT, they jumped at the chance to work on the vehicle.
