Nissan Makes $250,000 Scholarship Donation To Universal Technical Institute Foundation
Nissan North America has donated $250,000 to Universal Technical Institute Foundation to support students who wish to pursue careers as automotive technicians. The funds will support tuition scholarships, relocation grants and/or emergency funds to help ensure students facing financial hardship complete the Nissan Automotive Technician Training (NATT) program.
Collision School Programs Participate In Expo
Collision school programs from eight states will be represented at the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s Cars, Careers, & Celebrities Expo being held on Friday, Sept. 18 at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois, in conjunction with the chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup taking place that weekend.

PPG Industries Foundation Awards Four $5,000 Student Scholarships
The PPG Industries Foundation awarded four collision students with $5,000 scholarships through the Collision Repair Education Foundation. These scholarships are awarded to full-time students in a post-secondary school with a focus or degree in collision repair and who have demonstrated interest and involvement in the collision repair community through extracurricular activities. The funds will be used to assist students with educational expenses such as tuition, books, tools and equipment.

Fifty Students Receive GAAS Scholarships Through Grants From The University of the Aftermarket Foundation
The scholarship winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship to advance their education, either at two-year vocational / technical colleges or four-year colleges and universities. All of these students are either attending or entering vocational programs to become mechanical, collision, or heavy duty repair professionals.
