From the Times Herald-Record website:

Over the years, the Automotive Program at Orange-Ulster BOCES in Goshen has produced students who have gone on to college and earned careers as master technicians at area dealerships. The program has a very successful track record of students placing high at the annual skills competition.

This year, five Auto Technology II students from CTECH competed in the Greater New York Auto Dealers Association Regional Automotive Competition, held at the Center for Automotive Education and training in Whitestone. Blaise Dawson of Goshen High School and Tom Martin of Valley Central High School teamed up and took second place, and now will be moving on to the states level competition taking place on Feb. 9. If they place there, they will go on to the Nationals that take place at the International Auto Show at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
