High School Autoshops Competing For Your Vote

Want to see what the most talented high school auto shop classes can do with a $3,000 used car? You've come to the right place.

quakerWant to see what the most talented high school auto shop classes can do with a $3,000 used car? You’ve come to the right place. Popular Mechanics is working with Quaker State on announcing the semi-finalists and finalists in the “Best in Class Challenge,” a six-week nationwide competition between high schools to tune, restore and customize a used car into a fine-tuned, pristine, and exceedingly cool ride.

From September 14 until September 27, check back on popularmechanics.com to vote for your favorite school from the following markets to compete in the finals:

  1. Atlanta, Georgia
  2. Charlotte, North Carolina
  3. Chicago, Illinois
  4. Northern New Jersey
  5. Orlando, Florida

Then, come back to popularmechanics.com from October 12 through November 23 to finish voting!​
