From Jillian Fellows’ article on the News-Review website:

The auto shop at Petoskey High School is filled with cars that first hit the road in the 1990s. To give the students an updated model, Dave Kring Chevrolet Cadillac and Delta College teamed up to bring a newer car to the program.

The Chevrolet Malibu was delivered to the school on Thursday morning.

“Our owner, Dave Kring, had reached out to General Motors as far as trying to get a newer model vehicle donated to the Petoskey High School vocational auto program,” said Theron Reibel, service manager at Dave Kring Chevrolet Cadillac. “Our General Motors rep got in touch with us. They are partnering with Delta College, which is a GM training center for auto repair students. This vehicle is a vehicle that they are re-donating to the Petoskey auto vocational program.”

The vehicle is not brand new, but does allow students to see some of the updated features that are not found on the older models they had been working on.
