A two-minute video went a long way for Kayla Kelley, 17, of Sharpsburg, who not only won a major prize for herself, but also for her school.

The Washington County Technical High School senior in the auto technology program was one of 12 students recognized nationally, out of hundreds who submitted videos outlining their passion for their career field.

“I’m really grateful that I got to go into this contest and that I won because not only did I get something for myself, I got something for my school and that means a lot because this school has done a lot for me,” Kayla said.
