Team Vibrant was the only team to have all three runs below the twenty-minute mark.  Joel Arispe from Team Vibrant stated, “When I first learned about HROT I didn’t understand what it was about. Once I saw the engine my school team showed me I immediately became interested. I grew up in an independent automotive body shop. All I ever knew at that time was to rebuild cars. I never knew much about the heart of the car (engine) until I joined CD Hylton’s automotive program and the engine build team. Seeing the engine taken apart brought a whole new world to me. I always had a passion for cars and this made me realize that this is what I want to pursue for the rest of my life.”
