Tunkhannock Area High School students from Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, once again took home top honors at the Northhampton Community College Automotive Skill’s Troubleshooting Contest.
From Robert Baker’s article in the Wyoming County Press Examiner:
For only the second time in Tunkhannock Area High School history, automotive tech students brought home first place after competing at the Northampton Community College Automotive Skill’s Troubleshooting Contest on March 14.
Seniors Balin Shrivastava and Stephen Grow entered the competition with the highest qualifying team score and clinched a victory over the team from Wallenpaupack, a team they were previously defeated by.
In addition to earning championship honors, the students were offered $2,000 a year in scholarships to attend Northampton and were provided with a gear wrench set for their tool boxes.
