Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Crowns SEMA Champs

Four teams will move onto PRI after students from across the country competed in 21 rounds over three days at the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge Dual National Championship during the 2018 SEMA Show.

Students from across the country competed in 21 rounds over three days at the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge Dual National Championship during the 2018 SEMA Show. The top four SEMA teams will advance to the Performance Racing Industry Show (PRI) in December to compete against the top four teams at PRI during the 2018 Elite Eight Championship.

Team Custom Automotive Network from Eastern Oklahoma Tech Center in Oklahoma placed first with a final score of 18:35.6.

In second place, Team Canton Racing Products from Lakeshore High School in Michigan finished at 19:57.6.

Team Mr. Gasket from C D Hylton High School in Virginia placed third with a time of 22:42.6.

In fourth place, Team Edelbrock Performance from Hunter High School in Utah came in at 23:57.6. Hunter High School was the 2017 Tomorrow’s Tech School of the Year.

Students also completed a written test that was factored into their final scores.
