HDA Truck Pride Sponsors Students At TMC ‘Future Tech’ Competition

HDA Truck Pride is sponsoring two students from WyoTech's Blairsville, Pennsylvania, campus - Elijah Barr and Karl Kerutis - with the help of WyoTech's Duane Tegels, diesel tech coordinator. The two students are the 2015 HDA Truck Pride student delegates in this National Competition on Sept. 22 in Orlando, Florida.

HDA-Truck-Logo-300x154HDA Truck Pride has been supporting industry efforts to encourage “the next generation” to pursue a career within the commercial vehicle aftermarket for years, according to the company. HDATP also says that fostering a new pool of talent for the industry is part of the company’s strategic plan. TMC’s FutureTech National Student Technician Competition is a natural fit to endorse this effort, as the event allows students to compete in a set of technical skill stations.
