Voodoo Ride is the primary sponsor of the Robert Tighe Racing Honda dragster for the 2016 race season, it was announced recently by Christopher Ferraro, president of GS27 USA, Inc. Tighe, the current world record holder in the Honda B series, will drive the Voodoo Ride car in a minimum of 10 events this season.

“We are excited to team up with Robert and his teammates this season,” said Ferraro. “Robert is an outstanding ambassador for our Voodoo Ride brand. He has a very loyal fan base and with his strong presence on social media, we are able to reach an important target audience about the benefits of premium, simplified Voodoo Ride car care.”

Since 2009, Tighe has raced in a variety of series and made his debut in the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) and the Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) in 2014. Tighe, who set his world record at the Orlando Speed World Dragway in 2015, will be racing in select National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), as well as IHRA and PDRA, events this year.

“Robert races at very consumer-friendly events and the tracks are the perfect locale to interact with customers and demonstrate the Voodoo Ride product line,” said Ferraro. “We plan on having a presence at the track each time Robert races the Voodoo Ride car and look forward to connecting with race fans and automotive enthusiasts throughout the country.”
