Northwood University sophomore Travis Huisman displayed a 1967 Bullitt-style Mustang in the lobby of the Sloan Family Building for Aftermarket Studies during the 46th Northwood University International Auto Show held in October.

"I’ve always been interested in cars, my dad got me into it at a young age," said Travis. "I decided to come to Northwood because of its aftermarket program and the good connections with the automotive industry."

The car, a ‘67 Flashback, was built by Classic Design Concepts (CDC) Novi, MI, and is equipped with a 347 cu. in. BOSS 347 V8 engine providing 485 hp at 440 ft. lbs.

By partnering with quality-conscious aftermarket companies to create the all new ’67 Flashback, CDC was able to not only create a visually stunning design, but provide a complete vehicle where the whole is definitely worth more than the sum of its parts.

From the Ford Racing Engine to the Currie Differential, or the RRS Suspension to the BAER Brakes, each sub-system has been developed to work harmoniously with the others.

Travis works at CDC in the summer months as he pursues his degree. CDC is owned by Travis’ father, George, who, as you can see with his work on this car, has a true passion for Mustang vehicles. For more info on CDC, visit www.classicdesignconcepts.com.
