The Ford Future Techs program has invested in the future of automotive students at Tonawanda, New York, area career and technical centers with the donation of 2016 Ford Fusions.

From Angela Christoforos’ news report for WIVB News 4:

The Ford Future Techs program is on a mission to train the next generation and prepare them for a career in the automotive industry.

The program supports local schools that specialize in auto repair. The Erie 1 BOCES Career and Technical Center, the Potter Career and Technical Center, and Harkness Career and Technical Centers all received 2016 Ford Fusion models from the Ford Future Techs program, to make sure students are learning mechanics and technology on current cars.

“I want to see how it works I’ve done a lot of other cars from BMWs, Chevys and all that but I really want to get into the Ford and see what they’re about,” said Alex Prims, Kenton Career & Tech Center student.
