The Car Care Council Women’s Board is comprised of auto care professionals dedicated to providing opportunities, education and career leadership to women in the auto care industry.

WB Scholarship Program Eligibility Requirements:

• Applicants must have a minimum grade point average (2.5 or better).
• High School Applicants – Applicant must be a female high school senior who plans on attending an ASE-certified, post-secondary automobile technology program.
• Post-Secondary Technician Applicants – Applicants must be a female student who has completed one year at an ASE-certified, post secondary automotive technology program by July 1, 2015.

Scholarship recipients are selected by representatives of the Car Care Council Women’s Board. Recipients will be notified by the Car Care Council Women’s Board.

In 2015, the Women’s Board awarded eight scholarships to female students studying to enter the auto care industry – four to postsecondary students and four to high school students. The Becky Babcox Women’s Board scholarship recipient, a postsecondary student, received $5,000, and a trip to the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas. The WB also administered the 2015 Continental Female Leadership Scholarship, awarding $5,000 to an additional postsecondary student. Two other postsecondary students received $4,000 and $3,000 respectively. Three high school senior recipients received $3,000, and one student received $1,000.
