Special Report: Alternative Fuel – EVcast.com’s Daily Podcast on Electric Cars Takes Off

The EVcast's daily broadcasts (Monday through Friday) are usually about 30 minutes long, and consist of headlines in the EV world.

SUDBURY, Mass., June 10 –  Within a few days of launching, the EVcast, the new podcast on electric vehicles (EVs), had over a thousand downloads from a mixture of car enthusiasts, the environmentally conscious, and the average American fed up with soaring gas prices.

Based on the success of the debut episode, the hosts Bo Bennett and Ryan Levesque committed to daily podcasts.

"With a topic such as electric vehicles, keeping the public informed of the progress being made on a daily basis is the way to go," says  Bennett.

"We spend hours every day researching, interviewing, and investigating EVs and the companies that manufacture and market them. It is a great feeling to know that our efforts are being appreciated by so many people."

The EVcast’s daily broadcasts (Monday through Friday) are usually about 30 minutes long, and consist of headlines in the EV world, along with the unique commentary by the hosts, and at least one interview each week with industry movers and shakers.

Each show concludes with listener feedback where the hosts answer questions and provide insight on issues related to EVs. Each Tuesday at 1:00pm Eastern the EVcast hosts their weekly show with a general topic.

Past shows include topics such as the history of EVs and the different types of EVs.

EVcast.com offers free membership to their website, where members can listen in to the live broadcasts while leaving real-time feedback via the live chat.

Listeners can also download and/or stream any of the previous shows at http://www.evcast.com or subscribe to the feed via iTunes.
