New Executive Director Takes the Wheel The AACA Museum at Hershey

Having built and shown her own vehicles for more than 28 years, Holly Bedsole has been named Executive Director of the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA.

Hershey, PAHolly Bedsole is passionate about promoting and preserving the history and future of automobiles which is perfect for her new role as Executive Director of the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA.

Holly was selected for this position by the AACA Board of Directors following a nationwide search.

Holly is a dynamic automotive business management professional with solid experience in management, marketing and engineering including 19 years at General Motors and 3 years at Eaton Corporation. Her positions at General Motors included:

• Manager of Show & Event Vehicles,

• Manager of the Buick, Cadillac and HUMMER Special Vehicles,

• Co-Manager of GM Historic Fleet,

• Concept Vehicle Engineer and;

• Technical Designer.

She has a technical degree, a Bachelor of Science degree in business Management and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management, all with honors.

“We’re fortunate to have found Holly” stated Darwin Clark, president of the museum’s Board of Directors. “The background and experience she brings to the able will be assets to the Museum in continuing our mission to the dedication, celebration, preservation and education on motor vehicle history for members,  hobbyists and the public.”

Having built and shown her own vehicles for more than 28 years, Holly is also extremely active in the auto hobby. Her automotive activities include serving as  Judging Supervisor and Awards Coordinator for the Detroit Autorama, Head of the Vehicle Selection Committee for the Woodward Dream Cruise Concourse Show, she
has also held various leadership positions in numerous auto clubs, and has assisted in the Meadow Brook Concourse D’Elegance Vehicle Selection committee.

Holly has represented the auto industry and hobby in various ways and is well known and very  respected in the automotive community.

The AACA Museum at Hershey, a member of the Smithsonian Institute Affiliations Program, displays beautifully restored automobiles, buses and motorcycles in unique scenes and settings. This Museum is one of the nation’s newest and largest automotive museums with over 70,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space and the ability to display about 100 vehicles throughout three levels.

Visitors are transported through eight decades in time from the early 1900’s through the 1970’s all while traveling cross country from New York to San Francisco, making each visit a visual adventure for all ages. Special exhibits and events change throughout the year providing new vehicles and experiences. The Museum is located just off Route 39, one mile west of Hersheypark Drive.

Regular admission $9, seniors age 61 and older $8, juniors age 4-12 $7, children age 3 and under are FREE. The Museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For further information, please call 717-566-7100 or visit www.aacamuseum.org.
