Tech Students From Farmington Hills, MI, Rock Automotive Competition

Students from Harrison High School and Farmington High School, both in Farmington Hills, MI, earned high honors at the Jan. 14 Automotive Tech Trek Competition. The competition was sponsored by Snap-on Tools and the Eppert Family Foundation.

Two advanced teams from the auto program at Harrison High School and Farmington High School earned high honors at the Jan. 14 Automotive Tech Trek Competition. The competition was sponsored by Snap-on Tools and the Eppert Family Foundation.

On the Farmington team, juniors Jack Lovelace and Geoffrey Yezersky placed second, and on the Harrison team, juniors Alec Barber and Ty Armstrong placed fourth.

The event is a statewide competition for high school Career and Technical Education automotive program students. Farmington Public Schools’ CTE programs are designed to prepare students for a broad range of employment and training services, as well as post-secondary education.
